Most of the artwork displayed on my website has been created by Hương Ngô, who has generously allowed me to use them to adorn this site.
about the artist
Hương Ngô, an interdisciplinary artist based in the US, explores histories that have been suppressed or erased over time, utilizing an experimental and materially-rich approach that begins with primary source materials from national archives. Her practice delves into the complex intersections of decoloniality, structures of power, and language, creating work that reveal practices of resilience, resistance, and care. Her art exposes gaps in archival knowledges, giving form to that which is often rendered invisible or fugitive.
